The Challenge:
I have been asked as to create variable data documents in Acrobat Pro that would allow Adobe Reader users to fill designated fields with promotional material to send out to customers. The fields must be able to be editable and saved by Adobe Reader authors and distributed to Adobe Reader Clients who will not be able to edit the authors fields.
The Question:
I have managed to learn how to create a promotional piece with designated variable data fields and save it out so that Acrobat Reader authors can not only print their authored form fields but save them and send them to other users. But, I want to be able to limit the final client from editing the authors populated fields. What is the proper security that I can set that will allow end users to save, print and send these documents but not allow them to edit them in any way? (I'm assuming these securities will need to be set at the Acrobat Reader (author of the form) stage.
Confusing enough-- Can someone help me out?
