Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE: LXK) today announced two new printers that help redefine ease-of-use and affordability in the home printing market for a key group of consumers who want a basic, easy-to-use printer with low-cost supplies.
 
The Lexmark X2350 All-in-One (AIO) and the Lexmark Z735 use the specially designed #1 cartridge to produce brilliant photos, vibrant color graphics and text with a single technology-rich cartridge, eliminating the need for multiple cartridge "swapping." In addition, with a larger swath and more nozzles than previous entry-level models, these printers feature one of the fastest color speeds available in their classes -- up to 15 pages per minute (ppm) for color or text documents and 4-inch x 6-inch photos as fast as 38 seconds*.

"One source of consumer frustration has been searching for and purchasing multiple printer cartridges for a single printer. With the new X2350 AIO and Z735 inkjet, customers don't have to worry about the cost or hassle of multiple cartridges anymore. The new Lexmark one-cartridge system is an economical solution with just a single supply item to replace. The #1 cartridge delivers the home user both high-quality photos and text documents at an affordable rate.

Both the Lexmark Z735 and Lexmark X2350 make printing 4-inch x 6-inch borderless photos a snap thanks to the exclusive Lexmark Imaging Studio software. This software also includes one-step photo fixes that result in brilliant photos that rival professional prints. The new Lexmark X2350 features one-touch scanning and one-touch copying with or without a PC.

Pricing and availability
The Lexmark X2350 has an estimated retail price of $69 after a $30 mail-in rebate, while the Lexmark Z735 is expected to retail for $49 after a $30 mail-in rebate.  Both models will be available in the coming months and found at popular retail outlets including Best Buy, Circuit City, Staples, Target and Wal-Mart. Models may vary by retailer.
