Adobe is suspending some product trials in June 2008. The company discovered a code error that would have caused some of its 30-day trials to expire in just one day if launched for the first time in June. Consequently, the company is suspending the affected trials until July 1.
If you launch these trials before June 1, you won't be affected, and your trials will work for the normal 30-day period.
The affected product trials are as follow:
* all the Adobe Creative® Suite 3 products
* Acrobat® 3D Version 8
* Adobe Acrobat® 8 Professional
* Adobe Captivate 3
* Adobe Director 11
* Adobe FrameMaker 8
* Adobe Photoshop® Elements 6
* Adobe Premiere® Elements 4
* Adobe RoboHelp 7
* Adobe RoboHelp Server 7
* Adobe Technical Communication Suite
* Adobe Visual Communicator 3
From now until July 1, anyone trying to download any of the affected trials will be forwarded to www.adobe.com/go/trialupdate, which contains information explaining the temporary situation.

It just gets worse
So rather than fix the problem, the suspend downloads until the problem won't be triggered.
That attitude goes a long way toward explaining all the problems with their CS3 apps...
