I have been on the fence for a couple of years regarding a new Espon printer. I am not a professionoal photographer but consider myself a serious hobbyist. My goal is to produce fine black and white prints and cannot justify the added cost of an Epson 3800. I'm looking forward to other reviews of this product. This may be the printer to replace my ancient Epson 1280. It continues to make excellent print however is not considered archival.
