I know that Adobe products show the font symbols next to the font name, and that works with my copy of Photoshop, but for some reason, it doesn't show up in InDesign. I am using version 3 and have never been able to see whether a font is a postscript or open type font. I have looked through the menus and the help and can't find any setting to correct this. It's driving me crazy. Do you know of a way that I can fix this problem?
