Another plus for UV Inks
Better color accuracy during a press proof. Conventional inks are wet when reviewed for color during a press proof and tend to loose a little intensity after drying called "dry-back." Since UV inks are practically dry during a press proof, what you see is what you get.
Does not mention the bad side of UV inks
Here in Australia, the government puts a higher tax on UV inks and varnishes. This is because they regard them as being more environmentally unfriendly at the waste stage. UV inks do not break down in the environment like normal inks do, and therfore are a residual environmental hazard - Don't ask me if it balances out the use of less solvents.

Hi Digit1,
Thanks for your comment about the "bad side of UV inks." I guess it goes to show that with every technology comes new complexities to consider.

UV Gloss
Be careful of UV Gloss on dark or deep continuous tones like black or deep red. They easily show finger smudges. I learned the hard way.
