I agree completely with your article. I sometimes get great cases of anxiety when I think of what I'll need to learn for future endeavors. How many more pieces of software do I need to learn? How am I going to repurpose legacy designs for wireless devices like cell phones and other Internet appliances? Will I have to do this manually, semi-manually or will it be automated?

As our workplace changes at an exponential rate, it's comforting to use software that I mastered five years ago, and use new software that has interfaces that I'm already used to (like Adobe). I hope that I can continue to learn as my career goes on, and not be left by the wayside.
